Geddit geddit? Cus bo chin after a visit to Bochinche.

Please ignore the bad pun HAHA.

So I have a paper tomorrow afternoon which I'm completely not prepared for. But instead of studying, I went out for a good 3 hour meal. And now that I'm home, guess what? I'm still not studying.

Ugh, GER1000 is the most annoying module ever.

But I'll worry about that tomrrow, because I'm literally bloated with happiness right now!!!

After longing to try out Bochinche's dinner menu for so long, I finally did tonight! And oh boy was it worth all $220 of our bill (and also the heartache. R.I.P. wallet.)

It's all cheese in that pan!

THIS was the reason why I wanted to eat at Bochinche, and it sure didn't disappoint. A whole pan of hot melted cheese, topped with crunchy almonds and honey. A cruel sabotage to my whole week's effort at the gym, served in a pan - but look at the cheese, who can ever resist this??

One thing I loved about tonight's dinner was our counter-seat experience. This is not like in teppanyaki where they perform culinary tricks and all, but DAYUM just watching the chefs prepare the food made us want to order everything off the menu (hence $220). I was so intrigued by the chef's careful plating of the dishes. It really was such fun watching our own food being prepared before us :)

Pardon my bad photography here, but the iberico pork chop was SO AMAZING! If I could just capture the taste and share it! Hands down the best slab of pork I've ever tasted in my life. The honey marinade was just hitting all the right chords, and the meat was so juicy and tender. I don't even know how it's possible to achieve such tenderness without undercooking it. But apparently it's possible, and it's damn good.

Here's an attas curry puff. Except it's name is also attas - it's called an empanadas. Stuffed with braised lamb shoulder, carrots and chopped mint, this was pretty good (but tiny)!

And ofcourse, what's a perfect meal without dessert right?

Featuring the CHOCOLATE PUDDING, SALTED CARAMEL, BERRIES & BRIOCHE CROUTONS. My favourite of them all :D Mainly because chocolate makes me weak; but also because the chocolate pudding here was so rich and it paired so well with the fruits and the croutons. But I'm biased because I tend to always favor the chocolate desserts :P

A random photo of a table near us, because I thought the quote was cute hehe. Don't cry?? With such magic in the food we're served?? Impossible.

Overall, I would definitely rate this restaurant a 10/10. But be warned, if you don't cry for the meat, you just might when the bill arrives. Cus itz pretty steep.

Bring a boyfriend maybe?
