Where the day went

He who controls time will rule the day,

But time is rationed fair and square.

Everyone struggles the same, sure to say;

With time, one's riches cannot compare.

I waited times in hope to see

What It could bring or take away;

It fills my soul with a certain glee,

But heavy on my heart it can weigh.

Not always, but sometimes it occurs to me

That we're all in the same plight,

No one can control the stream running free

Except to sensualize delight.

But the splendour of the berry tree,

can rob sweetness in its stray;

Time renders its own worthy,

No one can pause its way.

Against my will arises some fear

To broken things in time I cannot repair;

With thoughts set fast, but eyes still unclear,

Again and again I stumble, but I know not to where.

Neither can speech nor expression come near

To unravel my irrational confuse

My commitment but also my relations dear,

Is time forcing me to choose?

But perhaps I should arrive by Nature's ordain

In Time that no one should grieve;

Sweetness or bitterness shall then explain

One's state of being too highly conceived.

In giving myself to time's embrace

I should automatically flout

The robbery of appreciation and grace

And bliss no one should live without.
